“A rollicking style that guarantees a good night out!”
At The Shore Magazine
Exit Zero will again embrace blues and roots music—“cousins” to jazz—on Saturday afternoon (11/11), when Bluebone takes Carney’s Main Stage. Led by Cape May’s own Jay Bethel, this twenty-year-old, celebrated blues/rock/boogie band has evolved into an amazingly tight, emotional trio.
Bethel works in earnest aboard a freight train of a rhythm section in Thomas Jefferson on drums and Van Burriss on bass. Along with well-selected blues classics from BB King, Muddy Waters and others, listen for originals from their five CDs.
