During the course of this straight ahead quartet’s set you might hear a blazing take on “Secret Love” followed by a tender interpretation of Duke Ellington’s “Satin Doll” then a surging rendition of Joe Henderson’s “Inner Urge” or Betz’s swinging original “Razor Sharp.” And it’s always full steam ahead when these two virtuosos take the stage. Carney’s Other Room, Saturday, April 22 at 9:15 pm and 11 pm; Sunday, April 23 at 1:15 pm and 3:45 pm
